The Mod Payload Testbed simulates the host functionality documented in the Modular Payload Specification in a compact, portable, and easy-to- operate package.
The Mod Payload Testbed accelerates new payload development by decoupling the payload from any Modular Payload Specification–compliant UxV platform. It supports up to four payloads simultaneously, enabling efficient assessment and validation by UxV operations and maintenance teams prior to installation on a specific UxV host.
The Mod Payload Testbed fully supports the MAIM, INS, power, networking, timing, state data, and control functions defined as services provided by the UxV platform to the payload in the Modular Payload Specification.
